When people tell me I'm mad to want to work with children, I like to show them this. It soon shuts them up. What do you think?

- Having spent the past few years blaming my parents for everything, I have decided to take responsibility for my own triumphs and mistakes. I have been working as an English and Media teacher in Adult education for the past four years, now I am re-training in the secondary sector because I want to give young people (and myself) the option to create an exciting future. The facts: I am a mother (one son: aged 14) a sister (eldest of 3), a teacher (still learning - but very passionate about the effect one person can have on another),an abuser of brackets when writing (can't help it).
